We planned to stay for 3 nights. The first night we were given room 6. While the room was nice. The loo had a smell and later at night we figured we had a rat sharing the bedroom space with us. We did keep awake that night. On complaining we were told we can move to another room. Around 11am we got room 11. This was the garden view room we were promised during the booking, and it was newer and much nicer. When we booked we were told we would get garden facing room. Room 6 was not garden facing. Room 11 was. Thereafter our stay was very comfortable. The room was clean nnd got lots of sunlight. We also enjoyed their pool and the 10m walk to the beach. The morning high tide and evening low tides are a beautiful experience. It's a small beach but clean and nice. The resturant in Dbyas is very basic. While the chef was a nice person and catered to some special needs mostly the resturant offered very few options. There is the Pandan cafe, part of the neighboring dream resort which has more options and a buffet breakfast. The manager did conveniently arrange for the transit to mushroom beach for our incoming and outbound boat trips. We did like the place as it was a small property and mostly chill and peaceful. Last day the room was not serviced.

We were supposed to stay 4 nights at this hotel. The Booking.com price displayed was not correct. Upon arriving we had to pay 4x the on Booking.com agreed price. The hotel view is fabulous!! We even saw dolphins. Swimming in the bay is dangerous. The hotel room was clean, the smell from the bathroom was very very bad. It smelled like gas. The air conditioning leaked water over out power charger which generated a power shock and short circuit. The pool is dirty and the overall maintenance is behind. Staff was friendly but just hanging around. this gave an impression like they are not interested. The hotel itself needs a lot of maintenance. Breakfast was supposed to open at 8 am but at that time the staff only just arrived. Because our baby needed We decided to leave after one night. The owner was ok about it and only charged us the one night. We have now moved to a different hotel which has the same price but is so much better!!

The location of the property is absolutely stunning – truly breathtaking. However, the road leading there is extremely challenging and definitely in need of improvement. Riding a scooter can be quite risky, especially if you’re not confident on one. From the outside, the hotel grounds look nice. But the rooms – or so-called villas – are in desperate need of renovation. It looked like they hadn’t been cleaned properly in weeks or even months. The bathroom in particular had a very unpleasant smell, which often spread into the rest of the room. We had no hot water at all during our entire 3-night stay. On top of that, the air conditioner was leaking a significant amount of water – unfortunately, right above an electrical outlet. By the second night, we honestly just wanted to leave.

Someone got dragged out by the current past the cliff and almost died as they were exhausting themselves and almost being smashed against the rocks by the waves.

Everyone was panicking on the beach, we tried to help them which seemed impossible as the life rings have no rope on them. The staff of the restaurant was unwilling to help or find other solutions such as trying to find a rope, when we asked for towels to tie them together they just laughed and simply said people have to be careful, a statement that is simply not helping anyone at the point its already too late. They seemed so indifferent, it was shocking. Eventually almost by miracle the person managed to get back to the shore, but again the restaurant and staff did nothing to help him back on his feet. Not even water or soda for free for someone that just had the most traumatic event of their life. They make a lot of money based on their location on this beach, so at least morally there is a responsibility to try and make it a safe place for their guests, at least have life rings with a rope so you can actually pull someone out of the water. To get a rope, put up a warning sign and brief your staff to offer some water for free or how to react if this event happens does...

We booked for 2 night and liked it so much we extended. There are a lot of places on the island to stay but this is RIGHT on the beach. As a small property, it has less rooms and feels very private. We rented a bike and checked out other places but they were more expensive and had so many guests that it felt crowded. We booked a garden view room and were given a free upgrade to the sea view room, which was amazing. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The price here is very competitive and the value is definitely there. The property offers motorbike rental services which we used twice. Very easy, and convenient to explore the island. 10/10 would stay again when visiting Lembongan.

EDIT: We read bad reviews about the restaurant in particular. In our experience, the service was a little bit slow but seemingly because the food is prepared fresh. Breakfast was average but good, and the staff were accommodating with substitutions. I read a funny review about the coffee having grounds in it. The coffee is Balinese coffee, similar to Turkish coffee. That's how...
