Came to the restaurant for a desert and a light bite to eat. We ordered a portion of French fries and 2 deserts (chocolate lava cakes). The waitress asked if we wanted them at the same time or not and we asked for the fries first and then the deserts second. She then came over with the deserts and said “sorry your deserts are here now as they finished before the fries.” We then asked for the desert to be made fresh as by the time we had eaten the fries, the ice cream had melted and the hot cake had gone cold. The waitress said initially she’ll replace the ice cream and we said we wanted the whole desert replacing. This is appalling service, especially for a place charging 15% tax and “service charge” when they can’t provide a basic service. The attitude of the staff is very poor and looking at recent reviews this seems to be an ongoing issue. Lovely place, just a shame about the staff...
Read moreThe environment was good but if you are there for food then you have to be very careful with your selection.
I’ve ordered a sweet sour fish rice bowl and a gado gado.
Firstly, it took ages for the food to get delivered considering the restaurant was not packed. The Sweet sour fish arrived first but you are given less than 4 small pieces of fish. Taste and price are ok, considering we had Ohana a day before.
Gado gado was a complete disappointment. All ingredients were separated and the sauce is not enough! What’s worst is that the bean cake (tempeh) has a small stone in it and the bean curd has gone bad (it taste sour and smell bad). We informed the waiter when she came collect the unfinished dishes but she merely smile and sorry.
Would not go back...
Read moreMy experience at Fin Island Restaurant on Lembongan was great.
A place was very close to our accomodation, so I had the opportunity to try their breakfast, lunch, and dinner options on different days. They had a lot of different dishes to choose from.
For breakfast, we had their oatmeal twice, and it was good. Then, I tried their avocado toast, both the Fin Island version and the Margarita one. Both were really tasty, but I left out the sauce (mayo?) from the Fin Island one.
At lunch and dinner, we had the prawn rain tempura, Fin Island pizza and the grilled tuna creation. All of them were yummy.
I can say that I've never left this place disappointed, so if you're ever on Lembongan, do...
