Radya Homestay — Hotel in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

This is a perfectly fine little hotel in the middle of a busy area. But I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It’s much prettier and interesting in mushroom Bay. My main issue with the hotel is that the front desk manager attempted to give me a ride to another hotel that was 14 minutes away by Google maps on the back of a motorbike. This was the most dangerous thing that I’ve experienced in a very long time. He came within 6 inches of passing trucks. And even though the location of the new hotel was very obvious on Google maps, and it’s a small island, he couldn’t find it. Eventually, I just got off the bike in total frustration and happy to still be alive after that incredibly dangerous ride.

If you agree to receive money to take somebody to another accommodation because yours is full for the night, and you have Google maps on your phone that shows a very obvious and direct route, you shouldn’t get lost. And nearly kill your passenger.

Booked 3 nights through a hotel booking site. Had no problems with my booking.||Homestay is about 15 minutes walk from the beach where boats from Sanur arrive.||Whilst it's nothing much from the street once inside there is a nice garden and pool and the bungalows and a deluxe building overlook this area.||I had a bungalow with a terrace and attached outdoor bathroom. It was clean and bed comfortable but the doors are warped and difficult to open and close. The bathroom was ok only cold water shower ok but almost no water pressure in sink. This little homestay is run by a friendly couple and they make sure you’re comfortable.||The rooms are basically little bungalows around the main guest house and it even has an open pool.|The room itself is cleans and has everything you need. The open bathroom was really nice and clean but the water pressure from the sink is a bit low compared to the shower. But that’s the only negative thing I have to say.||The breakfast is simple but delicious and you can choose from a small menu. |Also the location is great, close to the beach and close to restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood.
