The Nelayan by The Tanis Beach Resort — Restaurant in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

We ordered Chinese food - it was not Chinese for sure as published- and a dessert . Waiter came with all things together at the same time, including the ice cream. We tried to advice them that we can not eat nasi goreng and ice cream together at the same time. Nobody understood and in a very fast way they brought us the bill ,almost took all from the table, switch off the lights as we were sitting and earlier than the closing time. In a way they throw us away :-) There are many better options...

Good for a beanbag and drink at sunset but better food to be had elsewhere. The Indo food from the menu was fine but the western dishes (spaghetti, pizza, burgers) were very average. There’s a pool with a waterslide at the rear of the dining area which is great if you’ve got kids but could be the opposite if you’re after some peace and quiet. Amenities are serviceable but could be cleaner. The staff are very friendly...

We did not have a great experience here - the chicken curry was a very un generous portion with two pieces of tiny chicken in. We then ordered 2 bottles of wine in addition so had spent quite a lot of money there and was told at 9pm reluctantly we could have a bottle but have to be gone by 10. We hadn’t even finished our drinks and they turned all the lights off with no warning so we couldn’t even see....
