Arrived without any idea what to expect . Perfect location to watch the sunset. Very busy for this time due to watching the sunset .The road to walk down can be quite tricky due to people , cars, vans, mopeds all going in different ways. Be careful but well worth it . You are directed to the beach club . This is where you will find a beautiful tunnel made out of wood before you enter the bar/ lounge which is located right on the beach. Very popular for most ages. You can sit at different levels . There is a swimming pool which people were in at anytime of day .It’s available for everyone The sunset was amazing with the waves hitting the lengthy coast line . Quite busy place with different sorts of seating , lounge beds, cane furnitures Great atmosphere with the music in the background. Now if you have mobility issues this would be difficult as there are steps for the toilets , steps to get around to the different levels . The toilets were clean . Most of decor was recycled it was brilliant to see. We sat on a lounger but was moved off as if we weren’t spending Rp3million ( £150) we couldn’t sit there . Or you were a resident of the hotel next door you could sit there. . You can eat a variety of food but can’t comment as didn’t eat there. Drinks are a little more expensive . Cocktails were lovely There is security around . Staff very friendly and don’t pester you. We had several drinks here and would...
Read moreCame by for a quick drink and small food entree. They didn’t have any tables and had us sit at the pool chairs and said they would let us know when we could get a table. We didn’t mind since we wanted a drink first. After 30 minutes of ordering our drink, getting it, and drinking it a bit, nobody came by to let us know the status of the table. I then asked another employee that we wanted a table and she never got back to me. I then asked another employee and also never got back to me. I asked another employee as a last chance before deciding to give up since I saw many tables available, and we finally got a table. I admit, they seemed busy, but it seemed a bit unorganized and it didn’t seem like they were ever gonna tell us about a table. I ordered the turkey sandwich and it was amazing! Drinks were good but it seemed like they wanted to give you less volume by filling your glass with ice cubes. Despite the confusing beginning, it’s still a nice environment and the staff overall was kind. Food was great! Just make sure to ask about a table if they ask you to wait or sit at the pool chairs. We came close to 7 and so we couldn’t get food at the...
Read moreHands down the worst place i have been in my life. I work in hospitality so i hate writing negative reviews as i understand the potential problems that come up in the industry, as a result i gave myself 24 hours to get over this and am still truly amazed this place exists. without the existence of the sunset or perhaps the hotel keeping its doors open this business would surely be bankrupt. The most expensive cocktails paired with the worst service I’ve ever experienced. The first round of Drinks took 40+ minutes to arrive at the table with the beers still having their caps on and upon us requesting plates and cutlery for our food we were given half the plates and cutlery required for our table of 10. Now We’re big drinkers/eaters/spenders so it could have been a very large bill as we really wanted to be out and about but after the ludicrously long wait times we decided to go home and gojek more food and drinks. I urge anyone still reading to go to any of the other far better beach clubs. We left hungry and sober with a $600 aud bill.
Edited to add: it was not busy there appeared to be equal staff...
