To begin, I reserved a seat for myself before I went, through WhatsApp, but once I was there; no body knew where I’m supposed to be seated.
Instead of figuring out where I was supposed to sit, the waitress went and attended to other customers.
Fortunately, the guy I was talking to on WhatsApp overheard my conversation with the confused waitress and responded, "yes, yes, your table is ready." Come on! Is it only 1 person that knows where I’m supposed to be seated?
Plus, Only one table was occupied. It was nearly empty!
Setting up a reservation system or having a girl welcome you by the entrance and escort you to your table is not that difficult. Customer service 101!
Furthermore, when I contacted them via WhatsApp, the same waiter stated that the minimum spend is 200k and that it begins at 2pm.
I had ordered myself breakfast knowing it won’t be part of the deal. After a few hours, a waitress comes over and reminds me of the total amount remaining from the 250k. When I question why there is just a little amount left, she says my breakfast was included! OMG what a mess 😂 Lol!
I also found out that there are seats that have no minimum charge 😂 imagine !!!! Man! Ugh! Not sure whether they’re just trying to make us pay more or fill the minimum spend areas first or what strategy are they using but definitely not a transparent one !
Their crew knows nothing about anything. Each would provide you with different information.
The bottom deck had good music, but the top deck couldn't hear anything; when I requested them to turn up the volume, they couldn't since all decks were controlled by the same volume controller. 😒
Not to forget, The view is mostly of trash and sand, with wood and bamboo sticks resting on the ground and construction going on around it.
Beside all that, you’ve got a small kiosk looking thing with a security or police or god knows who it was that asks you to pay 30k to enter Pererenan area 😅 I'm not sure what was I being charged for ??!! Is it for the mess they're causing or the construction roads that are so poorly maintained😂 The people of Bali are literally trying to make money of everything , hopefully we don’t get to pay if we breathe air -...
Read moreCame to celebrate a good friends birthday. I was not going to comment but changed my mind after another woman who also was at the celebration shared she tripped on the same set of steps that I tripped, fell and banged my knee.
I was carrying a bottle of wine as a gift for my friend. When I fell management came and picked up the wine bottle and my phone as they both dropped out of my hands. He asked if I was okay. Perhaps he didn’t see me struggle to stand straight or struggle to walk the remaining stairs. There is no handle to grab and I was not offered help to walk up the stairs. I was not offered ice to place in my knee but the biggest concern when handling me back the bottle was being told if the bottle Gets opened - there will be a corkage fee of 480k.
I proceeded up another flight of stairs to my friends gathering with a sore knee and four hours later my knee is more stiff and sore.
The steps are uneven but worse - the management showed no concern nor assistance with a 58 year old woman who fell on the stairs. Such a sad pity in service for...
Read moreThis place has really unpleasant vibes, been twice now. I don't think staff is to blame, but probably management/owner. There is a lot of reguliations and rules, feels more like court of law than a restaurant. For example, you come in and the entire place is empty, yet you won't be able to enjoy any of them beach beds or anything because they have rules of who is allowed to sit where. For example, entire 2nd floor is for groups of people. But even if they have no booking, and you came alone, they still won't let you sit anywhere just in case more people come? It honestly explains why this place is so pretty and yet always empty. Like make a booking system in that case, and if no one makes any booking for the day, allow people to choose their seating like any restaurant/cafe. After all they are paying to be here, no? Also the smoothies are watered down, tastes pretty much like water, means its 90% ice in it and One small slice of the actual fruit. Tried mango...
