Last Tuesday evening, my visit to The Sayan House was a delightful experience. As soon as I arrived at 7:30 PM, the vibrant atmosphere, accentuated by a live band and an exceptional singer, set the mood for the evening. I was immediately escorted to my seat, bypassing any wait time.
The ambiance at The Sayan House is notably romantic, making it an ideal spot for couples. Although I missed the sunset view, which is said to be spectacular around 6 PM, the nighttime vista was still breathtaking.
The service was commendable with friendly and courteous waiters. The meal kicked off with a complimentary appetizer of egg mayo on chips – a delicious and unexpected treat. The culinary highlights included the Unagi Sushi, bursting with flavor, and the Guacamole Roll Sushi, which paired wonderfully with chili mayonnaise.
I also tried the Los de Sashimi Tacos and Los de Camaron. Both were excellent, featuring fresh sashimi and a harmonious blend of flavors. I personally would have preferred hard tacos and added some chili mayonnaise for an extra kick.
Though the signature cocktails seemed enticing, I chose the more economical lime squash, which was refreshing. However, I'm curious to try their cocktails in the future.
For the finale, I had the Bravo Ramen, a fusion Japanese dish. It was surprisingly impressive, unique, and comforting, serving as a perfect end to a meal filled with sushi and tacos.
A pleasant surprise was their premium toilet facilities, arguably the finest in Bali.
The only downside to The Sayan House is the pricing. For two people, the total came to 770K IDR, which included two sushi dishes, four pieces of tacos, a ramen, and a drink. While not inexpensive, I believe the quality of the food and the overall dining experience...
