Warung Nelly — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

Walking past the place, we were encouraged by a group of people standing in front of the entrance. They highly recommended this place. Unfortunately, the food was poor - very little chicken in both the pad thai and the tortilla, basically just noodles and in the second course lettuce and sauce in the tortilla :( but the juices were good. The next day we wanted to give this place a chance and went for breakfast, unfortunately we waited almost 40 minutes for a smoothie bowl and the portion was very small. For the same price we ate 3 times bigger. The waiter was very nice. We came across Warung Nelly when strolling around and noticed that it was pretty full. After we finished our meal we understood why. The food is very delicious and the prices are very reasonable. They serve all kinds of food and have a great variety of appetizers/main courses and desserts. My favourite was the crispy calamari. I had never had a better one before. The best Warung on the island. My wife and I ate here almost everyday we were on Gili Air and loved every bite! The staff/family running it is so kind. The food is delicious, you can taste the homemade love. The juices are perfect. The prices are super affordable. I’m going to miss this place when we leave the island.
