Sober Lane — Restaurant in Cork

Don’t leave your stuff hanging around.Went in for a few drinks on a Saturday evening and during the evening decided to go outside for a smoke. Wasn’t 10 mins and jacket was stolen. Said it to the staff (as it was expensive and was raining) which they went and checked cameras as they was one located facing our table. He came back saying he can’t be sure and would not think it was taken but picked up by mistake … find that hard to believe and the lady at the next table recons he knew the girl who took it, so anyways he said he would ring me Monday/Tuesday to go through it with me. The days past and nothing so i decided to ring and not once did they answer the phone . EDITED (below is my review but since I was told the tofu isn’t gluten free but it still says it is on deliveroo 😬 so I’m not sure what is actually gf) 10/10 so so impressed. I tried Sober Lane for the first time a couple of nights ago and I was honestly blown away. They have 2 vegan burgers, one is Jackfruit and one is Cauliflower Tempura (I much rather these then the imitation meats, but that’s just me) so happy it wasn’t Falafel burger haha. I’m vegan and coeliac so I was delighted they had a lovely gluten free bun as well as “KFT” (Kentucky fried Tofu), crispy Tofu with a lovely sweet dip. Followed by GF brownie with Raspberry coulis. Was sat quickly with no booking which was great, however we were sat next to a blaring speaker could not hear our selves think no mind have a decent conversation. Served by an extremely rude female waitress didn’t catch her name as she didn’t introduce herself either. Took our order, I asked for a Coke Zero as I am diabetic got a regular coke full sugar and I was doubted and she made a fuss of having to exchange it. Food was grand/decent. Got wings however did not come with regular accompaniments i.e celery, blue cheese, hand wipes etc also did not get my dip I ordered. Waitress was condescending and seemed like she hated her job .
