Fred Zeppelins — Restaurant in Cork

Kinda disappointed with our treatment the other night. I normally have a great time there but me and my friend went to use the bathroom and got stopped because there were two of us. It's fine, we simply explained that one of us had our time of the month and wanted to give her a pad. The bartender just replied "I know how druggies work" We aren't drug users, nor have we ever taken drugs. No proof of that I know but that was extremely rude to say none the less. Not only did the bartender say it to us but announced it to the customers at the bar also. We got a lot of dirty looks and a few laughs at our expense. We were embarrassed and quickly left once my friend used the toilet. I understand there are drug users that come in. But we were not one of them. We were embarrassed publicly for simply trying to pass a friend a pad in the bathroom. Again I love Fredz, this isn't a bad review for all the staff. Just the girl that was...

Yesterday me and my 2 friends went to this pub. It was completely empty apart from a heavy set older man who asked us to leave because we "looked like you were after a few". We were 100% sober at the time of this incident and the bar was empty. No one was inside it apart from that guy who asked us to leave. This guy was watching the TV. My guess is that this guy wanted the TV to himself. There were four people hanging out outside who were also not allowed in. This...

Visited whilst on holiday in Cork. Coming from Birmingham we were told that there was a metal bar so naturally we paid a visit. Lo and behold we ended up going multiple times enjoying every moment. Big shoutout to Mark on the bar, top bloke, deserves a raise!

Excellent service and staff in general. It’s a proper ode to the dive bars of old with music that’s head bangable!
