The Clock Tavern — Restaurant in County Mayo

I don't write reviews all that often but feel the need to write one here. Worst and I mean worst customer service I ever experienced. They Never brought down a menu after asking for one so I had to find one that was lying on the bar counter. My partners dinner arrived on the table but mine didn't arrive until 20 minutes later after I had to remind her. "Sorry they forgot about your order" is all I got. I got the chicken burger which was just OK. My wife ordered the power salad with salmon, she received a small bowl of mixed greens, 3 slivers of salmon and no dressing. Cant believe they charged €15 for that! She asked for some dressing, the waitress came back to tell us the chef cant make the dressing without the salad - lol. 1 star to the waitress for trying. That's all I can say. Too much details to even describe our experience and how we felt after leaving this place. Barman very rude and bossy to the waitresses. He seems to be interested more in chatting and ordering around than doing his job!! A place to avoid for sure. Go somewhere else if you have a choice, where you can get good and quick service, drinks that you want and cold beer with your food, not after!...
