A Gem in the Heart of Westport

The Clock House Cafe is hands down my favourite spot in town. I’ve been coming here time and time again since they opened — and every visit is just as wonderful as the last. The coffee? Absolutely beautiful. It’s easily the best in Westport — rich, smooth, and made with care every single time.

The atmosphere is always so warm and welcoming. Whether you’re popping in for a quick cup or settling in for a bite to eat, the vibe is relaxed and inviting. The food is consistently delicious — fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavour — and the service is just brilliant: friendly, attentive, and genuine.

What I love most is the consistency. No matter when I stop by, I know I’m going to be greeted with a smile, treated with kindness, and leave feeling happy and satisfied. It’s that kind of place that keeps pulling you back again and again.

This was my second visit at the cafe ,the first was really great ,but today was definitely the worst. My husband firstly went in to grab us coffee and babychinos then I later went in to ask to use the bathroom with 2 toddlers .The older lady asked if I was a customer and I informed her that my husband previously came in to Order . she told me to go to SuperValu rather . We kept on exchanging words then I finally used the outside entrance to access the bathrooms .This lady followed me and reminded me that the bathrooms were only meant for customers and Mind you I wanted my toddlers to use the bathroom . I was very upset and informed my husband who later came in and spoke to her . This lady is just RUDE AND I DONT THINK she should serve customers.I will...

We came to the café by chance! All seats outside were occupied - we were greeted very friendly and got a seat by the window. Really great and very attentive staff! You immediately feel comfortable and welcome! And the snack I opted for really was ! A toasted bread with whipped ricotta and fried mushrooms topped with salad, mushroom tempura and marinated onions ! It was amazing! Both the quality of the food - including a warm pear and apple crumble - as well as the service and the owners were great! We'll be back when we're in the area - and can recommend this place...
