I regret to say that I cannot recommend this restaurant, at all!
I recently dined with my wife at this ‘Michelin-recommended’ restaurant, expecting a memorable culinary experience. Unfortunately, our visit was anything but that. I ordered a lamb shank, which turned out to be disappointingly tough, dry and almost inedible. Expecting better quality from a restaurant of this caliber, this was a major letdown.
The situation worsened when I politely voiced my feedback to the manager. Instead of showing concern or willingness to address the issue, the manager was dismissive and patronizing. They claimed that I was eating the dish incorrectly, a response that was both shocking and unprofessional, especially considering that no instructions on how to enjoy the dish were provided. This lack of customer care was astounding.
Moreover, the manager’s demeaning attitude towards other restaurants when I mentioned having better lamb shanks elsewhere was off-putting and unbecoming of a restaurant of this stature.
Additionally, the condition of the men’s restroom left much to be desired. Not only was the toilet broken, but the overall cleanliness was subpar, further diminishing our dining experience.
In summary, the combination of substandard food, poor service, a dismissive attitude from the management, and inadequate facilities does not live up to what one would expect from a Michelin-recommended restaurant. Based on this experience, I must say, this is not only the worst Michelin-recommended restaurant experience but also the worst dining experience I have ever...

Went there on 17th July. Having just purchased a car, my Wife and I wanted to celebrate. We got there pretty early, and sat down to order. We ordered for 1 main, 2 starters, and a basket of bread. Now bear in mind, in Indian subcontinent, the culture is to order for the table, and not per person. It is common to order 2 mains between 3-4 people, and same with starters. And I expect an Indian restaurant owned by Indians, to know that. The Indian waiter tells me that there is 35 quid minimum order requirement per person. I tell him that our appetite isn't pretty big, and 2 mains will be too much, to which he says we can take our leftovers. We eat some delicious food, order desserts, and then ask another guy, to kindly pack our left overs, to which he responds, that it is not restaurant policy to pack left overs, and then when I give an exasperated look, he very reluctantly puts both the curries(making it worthless, and tasteless) in one box and hand it to us.
All this while, I see people of other races being showered with attention, while I had to literally wave at them to even catch their attention. My words may not describe what can only be felt.
If you are not brown, this review probably doesn't apply to you, because you will get great service, and the food is anyway delicious which has been rightly praised in other reviews. But if you are a desi(India, Pakistan or Bangladesh), better avoid this restaurant, unless of course you have deep pockets...
Read moreThe food was good but I don't think it was fantastic. It is overrated and certainly overpriced. The service was awful. we had an incredibly rude waitress. Rather than look after us, the priority was to get us to leave. Everything was done in a rush. For example, the waitress refilled a glass of water and was so rushed and disinterested that she poured it too fast and ended up spilling water on my friend. Then she rushed off again, unaware of the spill. At each stage of the meal, plates were removed before people were finished eating. We asked for the dessert and we got one menu for three of us. The menu was just thrown at us in a rude manner. Then, when the waitress came back to us after this, she just grabbed the single menu and said "ok no dessert" and started to turn her back on us. We had to call her back to take our dessert order. When it came to leave, my two friends got up to leave I was just about to get up. But suddenly, I was ambushed by the waitress who was rushing in on the table, wiping it down and removing more cutlery and plates. I was pinned into my seat and I couldn't move until she finished with her agenda. It was overall an incredible display of disinterest from our waitress. I left a tip but I am sorry that I did.
I think the restaurant relies upon it's reputation, which is not justified from what I've experienced. It's a classic case of the emperors new clothes. I don't know why this...
