The service was very good. I ordered the lamb pot stickers and the tonkotsu pork ramen with a soft drink for €27.

The lamb pot stickers were ok but the ramen was very poor. I have never come across a broth like this before. Very watery broth with hardly any flavour.. about a million miles away from anything resembling slow simmered pork bone broth. Notice the complete lack of tiny fat bubbles in the broth... a sure sign that's it's not a genuine pork bone broth (see video)

The egg was pickled which is a departure from the usual soy sauce/sugar/mirin/sake cured adjitama of japan. Unfortunately the pickled egg was over cooked and also flavourless compared with traditional cured adjitama egg.

The noodles were over cooked but it doesn't matter because they were supermarket type ramen noodles as opposed to freshly made noodles.

The one saving grace was the pork which although the fat might have been more rendered... was still enjoyable as the chef had made a good job of making it crispy which i do love.

As i said, the staff were very friendly and helpful so im sorry to leave a bad review but this ramen is not...

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was not very pleasant. When I arrived and sat down, the waiter asked me to move to a different seat, which was uncomfortable right from the start. I explained that I preferred a more private spot because I don’t feel confident eating sushi with chopsticks. The waiter agreed but mentioned that if more guests arrived, I would have to change seats.

I ordered a Coke and chicken ramen. When I wanted to ask about the avocado tuna roll, the waiter wasn’t sure, even though we were looking at the menu together—he had to call another staff member for help. The food was mediocre. The chicken in the ramen had bones, making it difficult to eat. Coke I never got only water.

The service was also disappointing. The waiters were sitting at a table, chatting loudly and looking at their phones instead of paying attention to the guests. When I wanted to pay, no one came to my table—I had to go to them myself.

Overall, it was not a pleasant experience, and I don’t think I’ll be coming back. I definitely prefer Sushide in Dun Laoghaire, where both the food and the service are...

We loved the ramen here but today we had a really bad experience with the staff, we arrived before 3 pm for the special lunch and waited for several minutes to order but the young waitress never came to ask us so my husband went to ask her to take the order and she was really rude, even when the place was almost empty, when we ordered she told us that it was already 3:10 so no more lunch and we told here than we were waiting for her a lot of time but she didn’t care at all so we left. We have had really good and nice experience here before but the staff today was really rude and she was like angry, just be careful with...

Above average Japanese food that is satisfying enough to scratch the ramen itch. The tonkatsu ramen is decent but the broth is lighter than expected. The pork is slice is delicious and flavorful and the noodles has the right texture. With slight adjustment of the broth, the ramen could be good. The tempura roll is also decent and filling. It has a generous amount for the price that you pay. The service here is good and the staff is very helpful in navigating the menu.

This was my second time at this restaurant, and I’m already looking forward to the next. The ramen 🍜 is, in my opinion, the best in Dublin—full of flavor and so comforting. But what really makes this place stand out is the service. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. From the moment you walk in, you feel at ease. It’s one of those places where you not only eat well, but genuinely enjoy being there.
