Updated again: This just gets better. So I have to chase to get (a) a response from this email address and then post on here again to (b) get the follow up, and as you can see Eddie Rockets reply below to say its on the way. So, I get a text from a number saying "Hi Brian. We take your order very seriously. All Eddie Rockets burgers come from a central supplier and are 100% traceable. Our policy is to take any orders back where there is an issue and refund the customer. However, you did not give us the opportunity to do this at the time..."

So, despite my complaint being actually that when I complained I was told "you are wrong" from the local manager, the actual response from Eddie Rockets is as above which, again, comes in a text after having to email twice and update reviews on here to even get, one week later. Its interesting that if their policy is to "take any orders back where there is an issue and refund" the actual practice is to first argue with the customer, tell them they are wrong and expect the customer to fight back to get to the point where the "policy" kicks in.

At not only that, but there's no response then from the number after that. So, your investigation is literally just getting "one side". Seems about right.

But there you have it. Its all my fault the burgers are bad. Same I suppose for all the other negative reviews on here saying largely the same thing. Good luck guys!

Updated: so as you can see Eddie Rockets replied below and provided an email address. So, I reach out. A few days pass with no reply and I follow up. I'm asked (reactively now, not proactively) for my number for the area manger to call me. Think that happened? Nope. So just bear in mind when you see the helpful owner reply to the terrible reviews that it seems to be very easy to post a reply and then just to ignore it. They are quick to post the public reply and then...well....that's it.

I usually get stuff from Terenue but Deliveroo prompted to Rathmines, so I figured sure its all the same. Nope.

The Burgers just disgusting when they got here. The meat was burnt, thin and tasted terrible to the point where my wife thought the meat was actually off and it certainly has a strange taste nothing like I've had before from Eddie Rockets.

This is nothing like the product that comes from other Eddie Rockets and it appears from the recent reviews here, this is a theme. I called up the shop and got the manager who told me directly "the meat cannot taste off because I am selling many burgers". So, the classic response; "you are wrong."

At this point I told him that if I'm just going to be told that "I'm wrong" about the taste, I have his position and there's no point talking any more.

So, again, this seems consistent with the reviews below that if you ring up to complain, you're told...

I had originally written a different review but I have returned a few times and the quality of my experience has changed significantly, so I thought it necessary to share my thoughts. I often visit on a Sunday afternoon, it is always practically empty and there is barely any staff there so I have to sit myself. I always have to pay before I eat and that is ok unless in this circumstance. One day, I was getting up to leave and I heard one staff member question if I had paid, now this tells me that not everyone has to pay before they eat and makes me wonder why I am being treated differently. Following this I had another experience that was not pleasant. I got food poisoning from the spice bag basket. I was throwing up for 2 days as a result. This was the final straw for me and personally I will try not to return to this Eddie Rockets ever again. This is not ok. My wife and I were hungry late at night after a night out and this "establishment" showed up as open at 1AM, so we went despite having to walk for two kilometres from where we were at. After we got there at 1.30AM the staff told us that they were closed. One employee with a broom in hand smirked at us. The other tried to shooo us outside. This was out of line, because there were at least two customers there waiting for their food with their receipts in hand. They were pretty surprised as well and began looking away instantly. What's even more interesting is that the working hours that are written by them on their front door sign in bold letters clearly state that they're open until 4AM, so I guess they decided to wrap up two and a half hours early that day. It's good that we live two minutes away and didn't have to walk much in the cold wind anymore, but we sure went to bed hungry that night after being treated like garbage by the staff.
