I recently had the pleasure of dining at Khushee, a remarkable restaurant in Dublin that specializes in serving delectable Indian cuisine. Every bite was a burst of culinary bliss, and I found myself savoring each dish with delight.
What truly sets Khushee apart is the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly a person named MO. From the moment we arrived, MO greeted us with a warm smile and guided us through the menu, patiently answering all our questions and providing insightful recommendations. Throughout the evening, MO's attentive and friendly demeanor enhanced our dining experience, ensuring that we felt well taken care of. The staff's dedication to creating a welcoming atmosphere truly made a difference, and it's evident that they take pride in delivering top-notch service.
Beyond the incredible food and service, Khushee offers a cozy and inviting ambiance. The restaurant's tastefully decorated interior exudes an inviting charm, making it an ideal place for a relaxed and intimate dinner. The comfortable seating arrangements and soft lighting add to the overall ambiance, creating an atmosphere that encourages conversation and enjoyment.
In my opinion, Khushee is undoubtedly the best Indian restaurant in Dublin. The combination of mouthwatering cuisine, impeccable service from MO and the rest of the staff, and the warm and inviting atmosphere make it a standout dining destination. Whether you're a connoisseur of Indian cuisine or simply looking to explore new flavors, Khushee is a must-visit restaurant that guarantees a memorable culinary experience.

Read moreWe recently visited Dublin for a weekend with four couples, and decided to dine at this Khushee restaurant despite a warning from our taxi driver, who mentioned that the owners use low-quality products. We chose to ignore his advice, trusting the seemingly positive online reviews. Unfortunately, we should have listened.
The experience took a nosedive from the moment the waiter started filling our wine glasses to the brim. I joked with my friend that they were angling for us to order another bottle — and sure enough, they did.
The meal began with papadams, which were fine, but the tamarind chutney was dreadful. For starters, we ordered two platters, two plates of prawns, a few plates of scallops, two plates of chicken tandoori, naan, and dal makhani.
Where do I even begin? This was hands down the worst food I have ever eaten, and I’ve traveled extensively. The grilled broccoli was mushy and overdone, the sheek kebabs were awful, and while the prawns on the mixed platter were passable, the fried chicken had zero flavor. The chicken tandoori tasted as if it was simply dusted in tandoori masala powder — utterly inedible. The scallops were topped with some odd green substance and tasted alright unless you accidentally ate the pink blobs of cheap mayonnaise or the other inedible sauces they added. The fried prawns were okay on the inside, but had a strange wasabi-like sauce that didn’t work at all. Even the garlic naan was disappointing, with the garlic left raw. To cap it off, the dal makhani, which should be a simple and reliable dish, was shockingly bad — an achievement in itself.
The bill came to around €280, and we didn’t even stay for the main course. I truly cannot overstate how terrible the food was. On the bright side, we’ll probably laugh about this disaster in ten years.
I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone — not even as a joke. The positive online ratings simply cannot be genuine. It’s a shame, as we were all looking forward to a nice meal with our wives, but instead, we left deeply disappointed that such an establishment can serve such awful food and get...
Read moreI had heard about this place from a friend who visited the Naas branch so thought I would give it a try (we recently moved to Ireland and had not yet had any Indian food)
I booked a table and only after booking read the reviews and was shocked to see that although their rating was pretty good the most recent reviews were terrible, I was worried but thought we would give it a bash.
We were at the restaurant early enough to do the early bird menu and my husband and I each did a starter and a main to try taste as many of their dishes as possible, we had: Chicken tikka & pineapple starter Lamb taco starter Chicken Korma main Lamb Briyani main
We were also brought an extra trial dish that the chef was testing out (a chicken skewer of sorts with an orange puree) my goodness these were good! and the chicken tikka was just as delicious, my 2 favourite dishes for the night!!! the lamb tacos were nice but would probably try a different dish if I visit again.
The chicken korma was good, nice flavour although a little sweet but we only had 3 pieces of chicken so portion I would say is not great for a main. Lamb briyani was nice as well but might opt for the prawn briyani next time. My husband had the butter naan with his dishes and said it was good so worth ordering some of that too.
We were the only people in the restaurant for majority of our visit (later joined by 2 women) and we had to go to the counter to ask for service so their service is not great, could hear them all chatting away having a time and not too worried about us, we aren't fussy customers and don't need service to be hanging around us 24/7 but would be nice to check if we would like another drink when our glasses are empty or clear the plates once we are finished eating.
