I’m a Taxi Driver and would go into this place 4 or 5 times per week ! I suffer from an illness which is serious I went there this evening ordered food while I was waiting on the food I politely asked the man behind the counter could I use the bathroom which is in the sit in area He told me no I couldn’t it’s not allowed As said over the years I’ve been there on several times there’s an older man who works there and on occasion I would need to ask him could I use the bathroom and never had any problems I was prepared to stay and wait for my order I sat outside in my Taxi a female staff member was calling me through the window to tell me the food was ready On my way into the chip shop I decided I wasn’t going to take the food due the rude and disrespectful way I was treated I told the girl no thanks I no longer want the food because the man had refused to allow me to use the bathroom She replied it’s his business and he can do what he likes it’s not allowed for customers to use the toilets The door to the sit down area wasn’t locked as delivery staff had entered and left through the door going about their doing their job This lady was also very rude I’ve been there with my wife in the sit down area while shopping in Thomas street and Meath street and never had an issue over a period of years I will never go there again as neither will my family Absolutely disgusted that I was treated in in this manner These are toilets in the public sitting area and not staff toilets I am very much aware that the toilets are not for every member of the public to just walk in and use but I was there as a customer not some random person running in to use...

Terrible customer relations. There is no sign in this place that says there is a sit down table service and an additional charge on top of your order. The “waitress” said it’s a “restaurant” so it’s “the law”....... I have no problem paying the extra charge, but when I went to order my food I wasn’t given an option so I didn’t know. I was just automatically given a take away bag and when I sat down they informed me of the table service......I asked if she could put the food on a plate and il pay extra, she said no it’s included in the price, I asked her what she wanted me to do, she shrugged and said “well you can’t sit here”..... and so I was kicked out..... I had to pack up my bags and my food and get out all in front of everyone, I was absolutely mortified, upset and disgusted, I couldn’t even eat my food, I threw it in the bin. That’s no way to build a rapport with your customers. Terrible way to manage customer relationships. Will absolutely...

I ordered a chicken Kebab from this place. I see them pull out lidl pita bread from drawers they and slap it in the microoven. Then they pull out things that resembled chicken, toss it in the frier and just sit and wait. Then i get the sandwich and it’s so sauced up, i dont even taste the chicken. I guess they atleast put alot of lettuce on top. Like look, if you remember cannot find anywhere else open, sure, go for it, but I wish I got a tesco meal deal, would have been better than this. I dont frequent “chip shops” as I guess they’re called, but I tried Mario’s takeaway before, and that was so much better and cheaper. Thought this would be similar, but food was barely...
