A truly memorable experience at Musashi in Swords! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and kind. The vegetarian and vegan options were outstanding — we ordered avocado sushi, crispy tofu, and vegetarian maki (including takeaway), and everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Generous portions too! The Japanese beer selection added a fun twist to the evening — we had Asahi and the increasingly popular Kirin Ichiban, which was served in a German-style glass. The waitress kindly explained that Kirin is brewed in Germany, and that bit of insight made it even more enjoyable. It had a distinctive, smooth taste — a great pairing with the food. But what truly surprised and delighted me was the music. It wasn’t your usual soft background tunes — it was Japanese music from the 1970s, full of charm and soul. I even used Shazam and discovered some incredible classic Japanese artists I had never known before — absolute gems. It added something magical and nostalgic to the whole atmosphere. The interior is calm, beautifully designed, and feels like a little escape into Japan — warm lighting, clean lines, and that unique soundscape. I left happy, inspired, and full. Five stars for food, service, drinks, and ambiance. Highly recommended — especially if you’re looking for something authentic, soulful, and...

My young daughter and I had dinner here on a busy Friday evening and the food and service was excellent.

We ordered a few different things: a'la carte sushi, a salmon bento box, pad thai with chicken and chicken yakitori (chicken skewers).

The salmon bento was a generous portion of three veggie gyozas, hosomaki , steamed white rice and grilled salmon teriyaki with vegetables and miso soup. Everything was cooked really well, salmon was soft and veg was fresh, gyozas crisp and golden and thr hosomaki was beautiful too.

The salmon sake nigiri and maguro (bluefin tuna nigiri) was delicious and beautifully presented. My favourite was the masago gunkan (capelin roe sushi). The roe was plentiful ontop of the rice and wrapped in lovely quality seaweed paper. All of the ingredients used were of excellent quality.

My daughter didn't finish her noodle dish but we asked to get it in a takeaway box and that was no problem at all.

The staff were all efficient and friendly. The restaurant decor is cosy and inviting, layout of tables feel spacious yet intimate. We will definitely recommend this place to family and friends and we can't wait to come back for...

delicious, beautiful, great respect to the chef. But the service... the first time we encountered such unfriendly service. The girl who met us (apparently the menager) did not even say hello, did not smile, as if she was very unhappy that we came at all. The menu was served to us right away, no one offered drinks. After 15 minutes a guy came up, also without greetings or any smiles, asked if we were ready. We made an order. The drinks were brought only after 20 minutes, after my husband's hot dish was served. But my dish was brought another 10 minutes later. That is, we ordered two main courses, but they were brought at different times. And there were few people in the restaurant, the waiters were not busy. The impression was very much spoiled by such service. But the dishes are...

We dined at Musashi and were thoroughly impressed. I ordered the chicken tempura and California sushi rolls, both cooked to perfection, showcasing the restaurant's high standards. My partner enjoyed the sesame honey chicken with noodles, which was flavorful and expertly prepared. I had the roast chicken in egg on vegetables with fried rice—every element was cooked to perfection. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, ensuring we could fully enjoy our meal. The quality of the food was outstanding, making each dish a delight. Musashi’s location and decor added to the experience, with an authentic and visually appealing ambiance. I highly recommend exploring this restaurant; the experience is unforgettable, and you won’t regret it!
