Lots of Irish whiskeys with a full list and good beer selection. The dark atmosphere sets the mood and the coal burning fireplace makes it seem like you're in older times. Has an authentic feel unlike a lot of more modern bars in the area. Bar staff was very friendly.

One of the finest in Killarney. Traditional crossed with eccletic brings a feeling of comfort and warmth. Staff were all lovely Will certainly return . The Francician well went down extremely well if you excuse the pun

Cozy pub with two fireplaces and lots of seating. Good beers on tap, large whiskey selection, and great music at night. 5-6$ for a pint and 4.50$ up for whiskey.

I went here for a drink and all was going well at first and the person who served me was very friendly, but when I got up to find a better seat so I could enjoy the live music better one of the staff took the drink out of my hand and told me to leave. And I wasn't drunk as it was my first drink of the night so I was a little shocked and thought it was some kind of joke so I kindly asked for it back but he just told me it was time for me to leave. Being since he didn't give me any reason whatsoever and got even angrier when I asked why he wanted me to leave, he ended up chucking me right out of the pub and was pretty angry when he threw me out too. I was in absolute shock as I was perfectly sober as I'd only drank half the pint and I hadn't been rude to anybody or caused any problems whilst I'd been there, apart from when I'd asked an elderly gentleman at the bar if the seat was taken and he told me to walk away. Never have I ever been treated like this before, and just an explanation would have been much more appreciated. But I would NOT get one. I do look very young but I am more than old enough to drink which I could have proven if that...

Don’t waste your time. We picked this bar after seeing the “4.5 star reviews” but not sure how it received such raving reviews after our experience. The bartender with a tarantula t-shirt was a completely “cheeky” and very unwelcoming; us being there seemed to have inconvenienced her. Every beer we asked for either was out or tap wasn’t working. After two beers weren’t available, we asked for an Irish coffee and she couldn’t be bothered to make it, even though the bar was dead. Her unfriendliness drove us away. Don’t waste your time, the place is littered with so many pubs with bartenders who don’t...

We think this is our favourite pub in Killarney so far on our holiday. Jack, the bar man, on his last day & was really friendly and we had great chats. We tried Beamish (€5), Murphys and Guinness (both same price €5.60)- all great. No food. Dissappointong that no Tayto cheese & onion crisps only salt and vinegar & hunky dories available. Jack gave us fab recommendations. We met a lovely local called Fergal and had great fun. Thank you Jack & bestest of luck...
