Eddie Rocket's — Restaurant in Killarney Municipal District

I was not impressed, the jalapeno cheese appetizer was so-so, the boneless wings were actually quite good but you get no blue cheese, or any type of dressing with the appetizer portion, which was disappointing. My burger was great for the first 2/3 then it was a ton of folded up lettuce and bun, the patty is nowhere near the size of the bun. It tasted nice while it lasted but for €40 for 2 people it wasn't worth the price. Add in the fact that once we left some rumbling started up, I tried sitting it out in the car while my husband did some shopping, to no avail. He had to desert his purchases, rush out, drive over to a hotel that was close and I rushed in trying to look like I belonged there, long enough to make it to their toilets, but in a clear panic, sweating it out, to deal with some Eddie "Rockets"! NOT...

I visited Eddie Rocket's with family while in Killarney..I have to say that it was clean, the staff friendly but the menu made absolutely no allowance for someone who, like me is celiac..I asked if there was anything on the menu that I would be able to order..I was told no, except for salad. Now in this day and age ANY restaurant worth its salt makes sure that there is at least one gluten free item on a menu OTHER than salad..or an item that can at least be adapted to make a dish gluten free. So while my family enjoyed their meal I had a capochino..I was shown their allergens book but that didn't help..so Eddie Rocket's please get up to date and adapt a gluten free menu..I'm sure I'm not the only celiac who would enjoy eating in your restaurants.. hence...

First I must say that a service was absolutely good. Lovely lady, sorry I don’t know your name, we felt very welcomed and looked after. But what is also if not more important we came to eat. This is it. And food was horrible. Cheapest seeded bun (just taken out from the bag, just in date - personal opinion ) , slim and dry burn patty, fries - I’m not even make a comment about it. I wouldn’t even eat that if given for free. At least after I made a complain I didn’t pay for it. I was shocked. I hope that no many people will depend their opinion about Killarney, one of most beautiful places on the world, by this place. Ps. Your motto is „ we did not invite hamburger, we just...
