We arrived in Killarney hungry and without a plan, so when a shop employee recommended coming here for breakfast, we went for it. The cafe was tucked away into a little alley and had quite a few people inside given that it was a Wednesday morning. I got the vegetarian Irish breakfast while my friend for the half Irish breakfast. The breakfasts come with a pot of tea and white toast. I liked my food (especially since I needed a break from all the beef I had been eating.

The dish explodes with a strong butter flavor not commonly found back home. The bacon is also like side pork. Lots of salt with very little smoke.
Momma convinced me to try the black pudding too. Not a common fare back home. It is made from fried blood with spices. I was pleasantly surprised that was quite good as well.
