The Vendricks Restaurant was chosen for our dinner in Killarney and what a great choice.

This restaurant stands out for its contemporary style and specializes in tapas, everything is made with local products and this was what we ordered:

As a starter we chose two tapas:

pan seared scallop with lemon butter, star anise and fennel puree. crab and shrimp in a pot, this came with white crab meat and shrimp, chives, orange zest topped with a spicy paprika butter and toasted bread.

For the main course we recommend you try the seafood risotto, creamy and full of seafood as well as the Irish angus steak that comes with roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, mashed potatoes and french fries.

Both dishes were prepared to perfection and full of flavor.

For dessert we recommend the lemon crème brulee which is the sweet and refreshing finish you need to end a great dinner.

Everything was delicious and apart from the place and the excellent food we loved the great attention of all the staff. 100 out of 100 everything about...

A bit hit and miss on our visit today, Sunday. Had heard it was fantastic. We each ordered two tapas dishes and received a third free on a special offer. The Monkfish had to be sent back as it was dry but the fresh Monkfish brought out afterwards was very good. The Crab Claws weren't the freshest, not impressed, and the three mussels on the paella were not fresh or juicy - looked awful I'm sorry to say. Couldn't eat them. The paella itself was tasty, as were the delicious goats cheese, patatas bravas, fried brie and gambas pil-pil tapas dishes. No complaints there. Also, the staff members, Kayleigh and Nick, were very pleasant and helpful and made the visit to Vendricks more enjoyable. One of our party wanted a cold coffee and despite it not being on the menu, Nick went out of his way to make a cold coffee for her. Their customer service means we'll probably visit again and hope this experience was just an...

Went here for dinner with a group of friends, nice atmosphere but a little bit too priced. We got sharing cheese boards served with crackers the ones you can buy from Lidl. On the menu in the cheese board there were figs and capers as well but we found dates (not a big deal but they should of course mention if there’s something different. We got the semi freddo that was not semi at all, it was still stone cold and it was tiny. On the menu there was chocolate ice cream as well but they brought chocolate+mint ice cream instead. Not everyone likes mint ice cream and they could have informed us and got something different instead. The last but not least: we found a bug in the leaf of one of the strawberries. Once we showed them the bug they said that they would take the dessert off the menu. A bit over priced, 8.50€ for a tiny slice...
