Eddie Rocket's — Restaurant in South Dublin

I've emailed Eddie rockets numerous times and just eat. Just eat refused to do anything pretty much as they said I HAVE to report it within 48 hours. I originally contacted Eddie's about this. The manager in Eddie's tallaght did speak to me on the phone once and advised me to see if just eat will take responsibility for it. 48 hours had passed by then though. Eddie rockets said If just eat don't take some responsibility to get back in touch Just eat didn't assist at all. I sent them 3 email's, they just telling me they can't do anything due to terms and conditions and 48 hour time lines. finally gave me 5 euro off my next order but after such a hard time chasing this complaint I don't want to use just eat anymore. Really disappointed at the lack of customer service from just eat and Eddie rockets. Eddie's was one of my favourite places to eat but to find two hairs in my food and everything listed below and have to chase a complaint is really disappointing.

Sent an email to the info email address to make a complaint. Gotten Eddie rockets loads of times over the years. Was always one of my favourite places to eat. It's normally really nice. We ordered from the Tallaght branch. 40 euro for two people. I thought " that's really expensive" but decided it would be worth it. I wasted 40 quid down the drain. The food portions are getting smaller and the prices higher. That's fine, I'll get over it .Food was barely warm... That's fine. I got over that. Asked for no onion's on my burger( it was in big text on the receipt). Big chunk of onion in burger Oookay that's fine, I'll get over it and enjoy my food. Opened the tub secret sauce... Big long hair inside . Turned me right off my burger. Put it aside, continued with the chips. My boyfriend then informed me there was NO CHEESE on his bacon double cheese burger. Seriously? So meanwhile I'm tucking into my chips and find ANOTHER hair.. I couldn't make this up. Also in the chips was one big rotten looking black chip ( took pics ). The bottom of the burger bun was stale underneath. 40 euro spent expecting nice food but we were left very disappointed. Eddie's used to be a decent place to eat. Really...

Mediocre and overpriced food. Last visit was yesterday to get a Veggie Imposter burger and garlic and cheese fries for my wife (I’ve stopped getting food for myself here long time ago). After paying 22€ for a vegetarian burger and fries I took the order home. My wife opened the box with the burger and cut into it and noticed the burger looked unusual in comparison to previous burgers she had. She said it looked like meat and asked me to taste it and since I’ve had burgers from Eddie Rocket’s I agreed that it tasted like meat. I went back to the restaurant to ask them if they can fix the misunderstanding and said this is not the vegetarian imposter burger but the staff replied it is the vegetarian imposter burger. There was no chance in hell I would have argued over a burger but that was a meat burger 100% and I know it because in the past I would get one veggie imposter burger and garlic and cheese fries for my wife and the classic signature burger with fries for myself and I always knew to recognise the veggie burger and this was just not it….neither of us will set foot in this place or any other Eddie...

Very unhappy with my delivery order today. My son wanted to get Burger King but I convinced him that Eddie Rockets is better quality (even though they are overpriced!). It took a long time for delivery and then it turned out they forgot to deliver my fries so I just got a burger. My son ordered the kids burger meal which is basically a dry burger bun (no sauce, tomato or lettuce) with a burger in it. I admit my burger was very tasty but not very enjoyable to eat it without the fries. We also both ordered milkshakes and although the top half of the shake looked liked it should (thick), when you drink from the straw (which did not come with the order, luckily we had some at home) the consistency below the surface was like water. NOT how a milkshake should be. I will not be ordering from Eddie Rockets again, very disappointing, especially for the prices...
