The Punt Pub & Cafe — Restaurant in The Borough District of Drogheda

My non-profit organisation, EurAV, had a delegation of Spaniards arriving for just one day, so we needed something special. The Punt is near our office, so we dropped in and explained the situation. I couldn't have been more delighted with the way they guys came through for us. They provided a menu for lunch that I was able to send on to the visitors so it was all prepared when we arrived. Not only that, but Philip, behind the bar, showed endless patience teaching the Spaniards how to pour their own pints of Guinness. We hired the room for my daughters birthday party last Saturday night. From my initial telephone enquiry until the end of last Saturday night The Punt staff have been amazing to deal with. Super friendly and helpful at all times, nothing was too much trouble. They organised a prosecco drink table for people arriving and catered the food which was delicious with plenty to go around. The room itself is absolutely the perfect size with room to dance, seating, outdoor smoking area, bar and toilets all within the room. We will be definitely using The Punt for all future...

The punt has always been a really good pub. It's really modern interior welcomes you and I spoke with one of the staff members the other evening who I had never met before.... The thing is you would think I knew her all my life... Really welcoming and excellent at her job. If you want a good pint in good company then a visit is a must... Highly highly...
