Hard to know where to begin. So I will start by saying that:

The staff in this place (excluding the manageress) have an absolute disgusting manner and bad attitude in general. Customer skills are almost practically non existent. The 2 female waitresses (1 Romanian, 1 Irish ) on the floor should honestly just quit working in hospitality altogether. Because they just haven't a clue how to deal with customers properly, professionally, and in an appropriate way.

Avoid this place altogether if you do not wish to deal with an environment that is permeated with bad manners, insincerity, and a hostile environment where staff...

Ordered vol-au-vents with chicken and mushrooms. I got 2 slices of mushrooms, just enough to be able to claim it in the name. Chicken pieces huge enough to cut in 3 bites. Food came out room temperature and upon inquiry, server confirmed that's how they serve it. Parmesan fries had so little parmesan on it that they can claim it's there, but not enough to taste it. One of us was given a wrong menu that was discovered as she tried to order food they don't make. Coffee was really nice and servers very polite. Atmosphere calm, small and busy. Overall, next time we'll go for lunch somewhere else where hot food...

Lovely spot on the High Street. Up 2 escalators in a sports apparel store and you're in a rooftop restaurant with great atmosphere and service. My husband and I went on a Tuesday at 1:30pm and were acknowledged and seated quickly with views of the busy Parliament and High Street convergence. Food order was swift with perfect portions making it a great deal for the little money as well. Bonus: just 2 blocks up from Smithwicks' Experience so there's a little afternoon activity for a weekday/weekend. Great find and so happy we did...
