Costa Coffee — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Navan

This Costa was recently done up and I have to say that the way the layout is now, there is much more space to sit down and it fits more tables and chairs too. The decor is really well put together all. Very comfy I find.

The staff here at this Costa have always been incredibly friendly; prompt, efficient and always get service with a smile.

If I was to improve anything about this Costa it would be the price (though this would be more of a comment on all Costas I guess). Today my wife and I, Ong with our son had a short break there. A couple of coffees and a juice, a croissant each and a little dessert each cost near €35. COSTa is right! It's not always incredibly fresh but today it was very much so!

Another comment I would make, though again it's less of a comment on the Costa but rather the experience we had, is that my son needed to take a bathroom break. Disappointing!!! Just how I wish i could give 0 star! The staff were rude and snobbish. I was the only customer at the counter, yet they ignored me three times. I even smiled once to one of them, but they were just roaming around, chatting, and going back and forth to the back. I thought one of them would approach me to take my order, but NO, I was completely ignored! None of the three women there on duty attended to me. One of them even walked right in front of me, went to the till to grab a tray, and then left without saying anything. They didn't come back. These women clearly don’t understand customer service. I didn’t catch their names, but it happened on April 6th, 2025, Sunday at 15:05, just so the owner is aware. Covid cert needed to sit down, which is ridiculous really as Costa is not an enclosed shop, rather a sectioned off area of the shopping centre, so you're sitting drinking your coffee while people are walking past you or standing waiting for something, with possibly no covid cert, so why bother with it in venues like this. Costa was empty btw because no one brings their covid cert shopping, I did because I had been caught out the week before. Maybe people will start to now.
