Ode is a modern community gem and a sanctuary for one and all!! This quaint little coffee shop/trinkets retailer creates a comfortable and welcoming environment no matter what the purpose of your visit. Their modest selection of tasty treats will satiate your hunger and wash you over with a wave of homemade nostalgia all in one. (Like you’re indulging in a homemade lunch prepared meticulously by a loving grandmother). From a hearty serving of their, most soul warming, soup to a selection of sandwiches that go that extra detail to be delicious and so cutely presented; ode is the perfect place to rest a weary soul in a world that moves too fast. If you’re looking to sit in you’ll be greeted by friendly staff but never pressured to hurry along as you lounge out in the gorgeously decorated living room at the back of the shop or the enclosed garden equally decorated with an artists touch. If you’re in a hurry they have a cute little hatch at the front where you can grab a coffee and a pastry for the road!!

I had looked over at ODE for a time, saying to myself, I must go in there for a coffee as its very pretty on the outside. Well I did, I'm delighted to say. Lunch, very fresh varied sandwiches accompanied by a home made chutney. A large variety of freshly baked goodies, my favourite being a big slice of fruit tea brack. One can have lunch outside in the 'carnival themed' courtyard on a sunny day. The girls in the cafe/shop are really friendly and there is no rush to finish quickly. The shop stocks a very varied range of nice things, new and shabby chic. I have already sucummed and have two items in my house. I will buy more from time to time as there's always surprise items hiding in there. I'm so happy Navan has a treasure trove like this now. I wish ODE a long and prosperous...

It's incredibly charming coffee house with quaint shop. You can buy there some sundries for home. Little pricy, but trust me - they are chosen with a taste, so it looks lovely and gives you warm feelings. Good things for a gift. Coffee menu is basic, they use Lavazza so there is +. We concluded that cakes are home-made, not bought in store.
