Mouldy cakes and a manager who refuses to take responsibility!

Went here today had a lovely chai latte but my wife ordered a lemon meringue cake which had green mould growing inside it! When she asked the manager about it all she got was excuses, the fridge wasn’t working they have no control over it etc etc, really not good enough now is it? There are no excuses, your cakes are mouldy no matter what state your fridge was in. To add insult to injury we were still charged for the coffee and coke, I mean cmon even as a gesture of goodwill that should have been on the house. In 2022 this ain’t up to...

If you like microwave food and pepper this is the place to go , ordered eggs Benedict yesterday that I waited a good 20 mins for when there was only another 3 people in the place for them to come out like hard boiled eggs which I could see the girl had put in the microwave along with the spinach and disgusting bacon pieces. I sent it back to who I think was the owner then fir it to come back completely smothered in pepper and Hollandaise, I ate most of it due to pure hunger after a 40 minute wait for microwave food. This is a little gem up a lane way just off the Bull(or the Square as we locals knew it!) and behind AIB. The whole place is exceptionally clean including the bathroom. They have a great variety of homemade food on the menu, everything fresh and tasty at very reasonable prices. Great friendly service. I'm glad to see more and more people becoming aware of it's existence. No queues, music at a low level, this place is a little oasis where you can have breakfast, lunch or drop in for excellent coffee and homemade cakes....
