Bishop's Palace Café — Restaurant in Waterford

Don't open the doors of your Café if you can't deliver a service to customers. Dreadful slow service, table dirty and had the pleasure of paying €4.25 for a half filled! small glass latte mug with an extra shot latte, which took forever and ever to arrive!! Customers who arrived after us had their coffee before me. It appeared that there was only 1 young lady front of house to deal with a busy Café, she did everything from taking orders, making coffees, delivering food to tables, taking payments at the register, she was probably expected to clean the tables as well!! Based on my experience I definitely could not recommend this...

Stopped in well wondering the triangle for some breakfast. Looking over the menu, it was obvious this place was not going to disappoint. Also I saw a lot of empty plates. I overheard the kind waitress recommend the French toast to the folks next to me. That was it, French toast it was, with a chi latte, what the heck, it’s vacation! Holy wow.. every single bit of all of it was sublime 🤤. I got the caramelized banana French toast. I was suspicious about not having maple syrup, my normal go to… Nope, throw the rules out, this was in the top 3 best breakfast meals ever. If I lived here I would be a regular, I’m gonna dream of that...

We had a very unpleasant experience today. Visited this place for brunch with our pet. Despite of the windy weather, we decided to sit outdoors and simply asked the one of the staff to clean the corner table. We nearly settled in and the staff started to close the all the canopies and did not want to turn on the heating. That was extremely rude. If you do not wish to serve the customer, just let them know. I found you absolutely unfriendly, rude, not pet friendly and...
