We were on our friends hen party yesterday in Waterford ,, we came across this wonderful place on our travels and we’re drawn in by the music and atmosphere,, we were lucky to have two absolutely outstanding staff members billy and Zoe WOW , I myself work in hospitality and I know how demanding the job can be especially at late hours when they have most definitely put hard graft in throughout the evening last thing they would want is a group of loud ladies on a hen party ,,they went above and beyond for us ,, anything we asked of them they served us with a smile each time ! We stumbled upon this place and thought it would be a nice option for dinner! We were very happy with the food! It was very well priced, and very well portioned. My partner got the beef braised in Guinness which was very soft and melted in the mouth. The mash was very creamy and the veggies were a nice addition to break up the richness. Only thing was the wait time was too long for the food and anything in general. Unsure if it was because of understaffed but any requests would take too long. Was a pity because the food was really good and the waiter we had was a nice guy as well. That’s an easy improvement though so overall good experience. 3.8/5 rounded up to 4/5 stars. Dined here on Saturday evening, the interior is very charming and I loved the aesthetic. We got a window seat so had a nice view of the mall. The table plan has been executed really well and it doesn’t feel like other tables are cramped on top of you while dining . The staff was attentive but you did not feel rushed overall the service was really good and we had a really friendly waiter. There was a good choice on the menu and the courses were timed very well.
