Well, what can I say about this place. The first time I was here yesterday with my boyfriend, service was slow but we came at a very busy time so that was fine. My boyfriend who had been here previously raved about the service and the friendly staff, but he came here with his female friend. He noticed the marked difference when we were here together. Today, service was non existent. The staff barely looked at us. Even the ones who were really friendly with my boyfriend before. Getting our first beer was good. Our second beer, 40 minutes later, was nearly impossible. Had to actually call out the manager to get his attention. The food we ordered, still not here and I only ordered chips! The tuna melt that my boyfriend ordered... They ran out. But we then overheard the staff say that another table ordered the tuna melt. We are very disappointed at the service, and treatment. We had a multi-national family reunion about a month ago. We called in advance, and reached Simon; we asked if he could provide an authentic traditional Irish experience to our Spanish family. He said “I moight and moigh’t”. Simon was fantastic straight off the bat, and organised a group called “Tradó” (might have the accent wrong there). This was one of the best bands/groups and evenings that we’ve experienced over many years and was phenomenal display for the Spanish family. The band had skills with an incomprehensible number of instruments, especially Sheen (one of the band) whom was extremely competent. Traditional Irish food 🤗🥰 Usually I don't have complains, but the service was very poor today, the waitress forgot about us literally, we were waiting there for a table and other people that arrived after us got seated before, she didn't even gave us a menu beforehand or apologise for the delay. The manager (I presume he is) didn't even let me finished my sentences, when I was asking about the table. No excuses for been rude just because the restaurant is busy.
