Well, it’s been a while. It’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed a dining sit-down this much. I mean every aspect of this experience— the vibes, the jazz playing inside, the colorful bao house exterior, the staff (nice and witty), and of course, the main reason we picked the place: the mmmm food!
I can truly sum it all up with a little twist on a well-known saying: “Keep it simple, preserve the quality, don’t be stupid.”
The watermelon with chili oil sauce was the twist of the night— a cute starter, along with the grouper ceviche on a crunchy cheese crown. The precisely made sweetbreads (veal tonsils) served on oven-baked bread with eggplant… these were all fantastic starters.
Service took its time bringing out each dish—on purpose, it seemed— to let us enjoy every bite. But still, our stomachs were craving the mains. Well, here you go.
The corn pasta? It took me straight to a boutique restaurant in Trastevere, Rome. Simply delicious.
Stuffed chicken wings, filled with chopped chicken. Look…. Here me out, I know it doesn’t sound amazing, and even though it wasn’t really my cup of tea (maybe due to cultural differences), I can still appreciate an accurately executed dish— and this was one.
Saved the best for last. On the same note of keeping things simple: the simplest, most popular meal on the planet blew my simple brains away—THE BURGER. It’s been a loooong time since I had a burger this good. The freshly baked bun, the twice-fried French fries, the flavorful, charcoal-grilled, perfectly medium-cooked meat… Everything about this “simple” burger meal screamed: “Comme il faut” (as it should be, in French… oui oui… croissant).
Speaking of speaking French, we finished with a very, very tasty Crêpe Suzette, which wrapped up our dining experience perfectly.

So, the lesson of the day, kids? You don’t always have to complicate things or overthink your meals. You can get a 10/10 just by keeping it simple— and cooking the food right.
That’s all, folks. See you...
Read moreI visited your restaurant for a dinner and wanted to share my feedback. Firstly, the atmosphere was quite noisy, with many waiters standing near our table and engaging in constant conversations. This affected our dining experience negatively.
I was also disappointed by the high prices in relation to the quality of the food. For instance, the fish tartar we ordered as an appetizer was both very small and lacked any distinctive flavors.
Another aspect that struck me as odd was the absence of sparkling beverages like Coke on the menu. It felt a bit unusual for a restaurant not to offer such common choices.
On a positive note, I must say that the Japanese pancake was the standout item of our meal. It was delicious and definitely worth trying if someone is considering a visit to your establishment. Overall, while the pancake was excellent, there are a few areas that could be improved to enhance the...
Read moreOur overall experience was good but not exceptional. We ordered: Fish tartare - tasted nice but very simple, maybe too simple to a point that it was bland. There were certainly no exciting flavors.
Tortellini with prosciutto and spinach - tasted really good. Even though warned in advance about the thick dough, thinner dough would've been much better :) I guess some things are not meant to be changed.
Roasted pasta with corn and pepper - it was like a cacio e pepe, just less good unfortunately. It was nice but classic cacio e pepe is better.
Malfouf lasagna - this was the only exceptional, unique dish here that tasted amazing. Must have.
Stuffed wings - tasted ok, groung chicken inside was a bit dry. Regular flavors overall.
Chocolate cake - waitress recommended this dessert and described it as the best dessert in the restaurant. Surprisingly it was really good. It was light, fluffy...
