Impeccable dining experience! We were fortunate enough to attend a wedding reception at Allegro. Right from the start it was clear that we were in for a special evening. The canapes were exquisite, familiar flavours but presented in a delightfully playful manner. The savoury canolli and bigne were to die for. The feast the followed was just hit after hit. Perfect beef tartare, Mandarin shrimp on truffle risotto and slow cooked beef ribs were a few of the highlights. But perhaps the most impressive part of our experience was how beautifully they served our two boys, 8 & 6. They had their own menu of child friendly courses to accompany ours and when it came time for dessert they were invited into the kitchen to choose their own ice-creams. We had an mazing experience here in May 2025 for our honeymoon. We dined on a Wednesday night and were surprised that we were the only people in the restaurant but were told that it was the Italian football Cup Final that night AND Catania were in a playoff match that night so all of the locals were watching the games - this was fortunate for us as it meant we had a fantastic private dining experience! The amazing English speaking Chef (so sorry but I can't remember his name) was brilliant and he went through the whole menu with us, helping us make the most of the experience.

The food was brilliant and was good value for this standard of fine dining. Every course was beautiful and more importantly tasted great. I would highly recommend it and will definitely go back if we are ever in the area...
