We enjoyed dinner for two al fresco, tables inside the air conditioned restaurant were also available but the area is pedestrian access only (at least at the time we went). We liked the luxurious feel that linen on the table provides, care that was matched in the presentation of each plate of food. Our waitress could not have been more helpful and was clearly proud of her role in explaining each dish. I asked for affogato, which wasn’t on the menu, but I wasn’t made to feel as if I was creating a problem, indeed my wife was given miniature panna cotta to keep me company. The various breads on offer were enjoyable and matched different courses. Amuse bouches are a delightful and very welcome conversation piece. The extensive wine list boasts a number of excellent local wines. If I could make one suggestion it is that, even though we take little salt, two of our dishes were under seasoned.
