Spaghetteria Al Solito Posto — Restaurant in Alghero

I would recommend against the place. The staff was not particularly friendly, and we felt rushed and unwelcomed.

It's sad to give bad reviews but I actually regret dining there. We ordered a rather more expensive wine that we didn't like. It felt very cheap and bad.

The pasta was hit and miss....my partner's was fine but mine was poorly boiled....it was actually pretty embarrassing but I think this was the worst pasta I ever had. The pasta sauce was however delicious. I had sea food and while I didn't particularly like it - I won't complain since I very rarely eat sea food - not my favorite anyways.

It was a Sunday evening though and although they force people to order at least 2 portions on weekends, it was kinda empty there and it was fine to order just one portion each. So that was alright.

But towards the end it got close to closing time and they were always hovering around us in a stressful and unwelcoming way....pretty sad.

Sad but I would recommend to check other...

The place is nice. We ordered pasta. We thought it would be good because the place is named spaggetaria but we couldn't have been more wrong. The carbonara was probably the worst pasta I have ever tasted, I think they put LEMON inside also the sauce was too much. It was 18 euros and I hope it didn't make me sick. The other 2 pastas we ordered were ok, the lobster pasta and bolonez.I still wonder how you can fail a pasta so badly. The bacon in it tasted like it was expired for two months. Overall the place and the atmosphere is nice the service is good, even though we were the only table there. I do not recommend it if you want to eat pasta. To be honest I don't recommend it at all. The only reason we sat there was because we say some people and we were hungry but now that I think about it all the people didn't finish their meals which probably means that everything is horrible. In conclusion nice place bad food.DO NOT ORDER...

I normally do not write reviews but I feel like a lot of injustice was done to this restaurant.

When we arrived we were instantly led to a table for two - the table wasn't dressed or suited but a young waiter instantly prepared it and was very attentive.

We both ordered spaghetti and it was amazing. The saying is true - generally the food in your country is prepared to suite those tastes. Here it was authentic and made to almost perfection.

The wine itself was good - and the lemon cake as well.

There was a moment where three young waiters came while we were asking for dessert. It was a wholesome moment and banter exchanged.

Again, I personally recommend...
