We visited Prosciutteria Sant Miquel in May 2025 and were absolutely delighted. From the moment we arrived, we didn't feel like customers but like welcomed guests. The owner greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm, making us feel right at home. His passion for food and hospitality was evident in every detail. The restaurant is run by a lovely couple who put their heart and soul into the place. The products served come from local farms, ensuring freshness and authentic flavors. Each dish was a testament to the rich culinary traditions of the region. Despite the wait for a table, it was entirely worth it. The cozy ambiance, set against the backdrop of Alghero's old town, added to the charm of the evening. We are truly grateful for the wonderful hospitality and the memorable dinner experience. Rating: 5/5

Oh my, where do I even start? It was just perfect! I've really wanted to go there after reading about the Prosciutteria online and I was not disappointed!! Food was really great, local and fresh! The host was super kind, a very lovely person, and recommended us some good wine! The place itself is cute and cozy. Very small so all the tables are outside but it just adds to the charm of this place! I cannot stress enough how much I enjoyed eating here! 10000/10, highly recommended and will visit again if I ever get back to Alghero đŸ˜Šâ€ïž

Run by a lovely couple who do everything from sourcing the product from small farms around Sardinia to plating and educating you on their offerings. Their main focus is salumi boards and wine. The smallest board size can serve as an aperitivo or, go for the bigger size for a full dinner. They only have few tables, best to book during high season.

What a wonderful experience! This is a true hidden treasure. We enjoyed an incredible selection of local wines, paired with a beautiful board of cheeses and meats — everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly chosen with care. The owner was amazing; he personally introduced each product that it made everything taste even better. Soft chillout music played in the background, creating a relaxed and cozy atmosphere that made us want to stay for hours. The prices might be a bit on the higher side, but the unforgettable atmosphere and the quality of both food and service more than make up for it. A must-visit for anyone who loves good wine, authentic food, and genuine...

This is such a special spot! We went for appetizers, wine, and spritzes before dinner. The sidewalk style seating in the square was picturesque and perfect for the evening.

I also want to say the server who brought us our drinks and food was so knowledgable about wine (local wine in particular) and you could tell he really loves what he does and wants you to have a special evening.

This place is a favorite of my Italian host and I can see why. If you don’t speak Italian the folks here seemed fluent and happy to speak English. A great spot to get a drink and appetizer...
