We had dinner at Il Pomodoro two nights, June 1st and June 3rd, and it was fantastic both times. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the wine was delicious. I had the gluten-free Bolognese (both times), and it was so good that I couldn’t even tell it was gluten-free. We also tried the grilled beef, and my wife had the spaghetti with clams and second night she had breaded cutlet Milanese style. She thoroughly enjoyed both. We were too full for dessert first night, but the second time I got the gluten free lava cake and they got the apple pie with ice cream, she said it was not too sweet.

When we said we wanted another red wine he brought us the more expensive version on purpose. When I confronted him he said we would correct the price difference through a free desert. I told him we don't want a free desert and just want the wine we asked for. He angrily removed the open bottle from our table without saying anything and brought a new one leaving it unopened on our table. Very unprofessional.
