La Pergola in Giardino — Restaurant in Alzachèna/Arzachena

We had high expectations for La Pergola given its reputation and price level. While the food itself was excellent, the overall experience was far from what you’d expect at this price point.

Our dinner stretched over three hours for just two courses due to serious delays and a clear mix-up in the kitchen. Dishes were brought out at different times, so we ended up eating separately — not exactly the experience you’d hope for at a fine dining restaurant.

The staff were friendly and did apologize, but no meaningful gesture was made to make up for the inconvenience. No complimentary drink, no deduction on the bill, not even free water — even after we asked. At a place with such high prices and numerous staff on hand, this level of service recovery is really...

Siamo una coppia giovane, a cena per la prima volta a Porto Cervo. Abbiamo ordinato un carpaccio di manzo, due primi (linguine e paccheri) e un'acqua (beh direi.. uno spritz a 32€ è una cosa totalmente inaccettabile.. e comunque una bottiglia d'acqua a 12€ non ha alcun tipo di giustificazione). Capisco la location (al Centro del Villaggio di Porto Cervo), capisco anche che sia il ristorante di un Hotel e quant'altro... ma ritengo veramente scorretto impostare un menù con prezzi così alti con queste uniche giustificazioni. Mi spiego meglio: con gli stessi prezzi ci saremmo aspettati un menù più particolare, innovativo, ricercato. Un servizio impeccabile e puntuale. Cose assolutamente disattese in quanto il menù è veramente troppo semplice e classico (ho visto al massimo due piatti che non mi sarei potuto fare a casa o all'osteria sotto casa a 10€ l'uno). In più servizio veramente deludente (per questi prezzi): ci hanno fatto accomodare senza spiegarci nulla ne del ristorante, ne del menù, ne della location, ne delle bevande. Anche quando abbiamo ordinato non c'è stata una minima descrizione o commento dei piatti che abbiamo ordinato (che, per quanto semplici fossero un carpaccio e due primi classici, il cameriere poteva almeno dirci come venivano fatti per farceli apprezzare, come ci si aspetta in ogni ristorante con questi prezzi). Per noi è stata una grande delusione, una cena con disagio e senza alcuna soddisfazione o apprezzamento. Spero non ricapiti più a nessun'altro, in generale sconsiglierò assolutamente questo ristorante tra i presenti a Porto Cervo (per quanto io consideri Scam anche gli altri... ma che vuoi aspettarti da un posto del genere, stupidi noi che pensavamo di poter mangiar bene spendendo un pò di più). P.s. Non ci è stato neanche dedicato un parcheggio per la cena.. direi deludente per un hotel. In conclusione: spesi 155€ di cui 100€ totalmente regalati solo per mangiare a Porto Cervo. Che bella serata! (Ironicamente)...

Booked a table in advance for dining, came to the restaurant but the menu was extremely small so we decided to go elsewhere, without ordering. We were assured by the waiter that this was fine. However, then had a 300 euro charge for a no show, despite the fact we showed up and were seated - and this fee was not mentioned by staff as we said we were going. Phoned them, manager then laughed on the phone when i stated that this was not a no show as if it was a technical get out clause. Also said would pass on details to their central office, who i am yet...
