We had a reservation for 6 people at your restaurant, and we planned to arrive by boat. Unfortunately, due to unexpected weather conditions, we were unable to make it to the restaurant on time. As soon as we realized this on the morning of our reservation, I promptly contacted the restaurant to explain the situation.
However, the restaurant refused to cancel our booking without charging a fee of €150 per person, totaling €900. This seems unreasonable, especially considering that many of your clients arrive by boat and are subject to weather conditions beyond their control. We were not permitted to talk with the restaurant directly but only through a service that manages multiple restaurants. We were asked to email and our emails were ignored after one reply.
The restaurant is unfairly charging us, essentially taking €900 from us without providing any service.
Avoid making a reservation here, because if something unexpected happens and you're unable to make it, they'll charge you regardless and keep your money.

When we arrived, I asked the hostess if we could have a romantic table by the window, she quickly shut me down and said “unfortunately all the tables by the windows are for large parties”, and proceeded to sit us in the middle of the room. Initially I didn’t think much of it - I wasn’t going to ask to sit 2 people in a table for 4 or 6 people (even though it was a slow night and most tables were empty). But then 1 hour into our night a straight white couple shows up and are quickly sat at a table right by the window. That’s when I looked around and realized that another group of 3 had also been sat at a table for 6 by the window. The problem wasn’t that those tables are for large parties - it was a slow night, but they simply didn’t want to do it for US. I got so upset that I didn’t even finish my dessert, I just asked for the check and we left as fast as we could. Message received - I just wish I had known what their mindset is before I gave them over...

We decided to have dinner at Novikov, at the beginning of summer season 2022 and sadly experienced unprofessional, and rushed service plus average food (at best).
For Porto Cervo, the prices are normal however usually quality reflects the slightly higher price - not at Novikov.
The waiter could not answer where the salmon is coming from - in a sushi restaurant. After asking the chef we could evaluate it as farmed Norwegian salmon, basically the worst quality available and not adequate for a „fine dining“ establishment.
After a few courses, within 40 mintues - which as said were average - and paired with bad service, we decided to ask for the bill and left for another restaurant to have a second dinner.
