We had booked our lunch reservation in advance as it gets extremely busy. We got picked up by their complimentary boat 🚢 down in amalfi Harbour by the private yachts and a 10 minute journey arrive at spiaggia santa croce which is the little cove where there are 2 restaurants. We had decided to make a day of it so hired 2 loungers and umbrella bit pricey at 50er but we where staying all day. Great position on the pontoon right in front of the sea if you are on the beach it's very pebbley. Lunch time brilliant table on the veranda over looking the cove staff were quick and attentive. Complimentary amuse bouche lovely 😍 touch. Tuna tartar starter 😋 it looks plain but that first taste excellent capers lemon seasoning brilliant next lobster linguini a good size half lobster 🦞 with a large meaty claw. I had the homemade pasta scialatielli with clams mussels squid again just one of my favourites. Bottle of rose wine from Tremonti a great lunch. Back on the loungers a little swim got pick up at 5pm taken back to amalfi had a great day...

However, the food was way over priced and lacked flavor. It was so mediocre that I doubt it was homemade. The service became poor as the restaurant started to get crowded. The private beach was not good. Very rocky compared to other ones so you need chairs. 4 chairs would have cost an extra $100, so we decided we had enough and left after waiting 20 min for the free...
Read moreThis location is great for lunch and spending a half-day enjoying the water. The cost for two sunbeds and an umbrella is a standard €50, and drinks and food are served throughout the day. The food is good, though not exceptional. The staff is friendly.
However, we had an issue with the boat service back to Amalfi. It runs on a random schedule. We were initially told the next boat would be in 90 minutes, but it arrived just 20 minutes later while we were still in the water. Despite being told it would return in 10 minutes, it never did. Be prepared for unpredictable timing and avoid visiting if you have a...
