Bataclan Restaurant Pizza & Music — Restaurant in Aosta

The bataclan has a nice setting and atmosphere if you sit outside ( they have a large grass in the backyard, but also a place inside), and a wide selection of wines in the menu. Yet when it's crowded, it takes time for the staff to arrive with the menu, not to say to take the order. When you finish eating, you will need to go to the entrance to pay the bill.

The variety of food in the menu is good, yet the selected combination of flavors in the food we ordered wasn't liked by me or my 13 year old companion.

I ordered a burger, which was made of (tasty) homemade bread, an egg, some (flavorless) beef meat and a piece of smoked meat with a strong flavor of rosemarine (probably to give the whole combination some taste). This combination wasn't successful IMHO due to the strong flavor of rosemarine taking over everything. The burger came with thin and oily chips, which left a lot to be desired.

We visited for pizza + desert. We will likely return for a more complex meal. Bataclan’s selection of pizzas is expansive, but very well considered, including both traditional and novel combinations. The wine and spirits selection is also vast; you’ll be well equipped to establish a pairing for your meal at your preferred price point. The staff is kind and versed in English.
