Caffè Bellini - Il Fornetto Siciliano — Restaurant in Aosta

The only thing missing was Sicilia.. I didn't have any espresso here as I prefer going to the "bar" Cafe which is more specialised in coffee, but the Sicilian focused pastries here are worth trying!

Only reason I gave this place 4 starts instead of 5 is because I felt the pastries were already standing in their case for a while, so not as fresh as I would have liked them to be, but I'm sure if I had gone in earlier they would have been more fresh, so this shouldn't be held against going here and trying their offered specialties. As for freshness, I base this sense of freshness on a bakery in proximity to this location (see other posted reviews for location), and the pasticceria locations experienced back home in southern Italy, as well as another in Germany). My advice would be to visit this location closer to their opening time vs later in the morning (which ended up being when we went, hence why it may have not been as fresh...

During my stay in Aosta, I found the perfect place for breakfast - at Caffe Bellini. Right on the main shopping street. I have lived in Italy for three years, so I had an idea of great Italian breakfast, but this experience at Caffe Bellini, exceeded my expectations. Sono entrata per chiedere se i cani potessero entrare,e in modo poco gentile mi è stato detto di no, nemmeno se ci fossimo messi fuori. È un diritto del proprietario recidere se ammettere animali o no. Purtroppo però la signora è stata veramente MOLTO maleducata dicendomi che avrebbero sporcato dappertutto. Il mio labrador e la mia Golden retriever sono addestrati e sanno stare in locali pubblici. Davanti all' accaduto una signora ( cliente come noi) stava per entrare,ma avendo sentito e visto la scena ha deciso di non fermarsi, poiché suo figlio possiede un cane per fare PET therapy. Quando la proprietaria si è accorta dell' accaduto ha LETTERALMENTE GRIDATO che non era vero che i cani non potessero entrare. Ripeto,suo diritto non accettare cani,ma in un locale in cui hai a che fare con le persone non ci si mette a gridare e soprattutto non ti rimangi la parola perché vedi che davanti a un consistente "pubblico" hai fatto una pessima figura mettendoti a gridare mentre sto per uscire.
