I had dinner at Trattoria Praetoria with the kids, and overall, it was not life changing. The service was okay, the waiter didn’t volunteer their best dishes dispute me asking multiple times. Just pointed to which ever ones were not pork. The ambiance is average, which is definitely ok if the food is amazing. The food was decent but nothing memorable. My kids didn’t like their pasta at all—they somehow managed to mess up plain penne with cheese, turning it into something closer to a white sauce. Pasta was overcooked. It had no taste. Stars for beautiful, cosy atmosphere in the restaurant and a very polite and nice service. I feel like coming back to try something different and I hope the lasagna will...
