Ristorante Pizzeria Victory Pub — Restaurant in Aosta

So easily missed, which is why I took a photo of the entrance - nowhere near the best bit! I've been coming here for over 10 years now, usually en route to/from Milan/Tuscany & London, and I make an effort with the itinerary to ensure that I eat & drink here.

Decked out like an 18th Century full-rigged warship, whilst it lacks the 104 cannon that its namesake was originally equipped, the kitchen & serving staff more than makes up for with a quality experience.

Seriously, it's brilliant - just look at the Pizzas!

Service is usually fast, efficient and friendly - and tonight in Dec '18 is no different.

A First-rate establishment worthy of the name of the Man-of-War or Galleon after which it is named.

Erano più di 20 anni che non entravo in questo locale. A memoria la location è rimasta quella, molto carina, riproduzione dell'interno di un galeone, credo il Victory proprio del 1800. Ho dato solo tre stelle e una stella la metto per la location, una stella per la simpatia del personale di sala, e una per grandezza della pizza . Abbiamo aspettato un 'ora, da quando ci siamo seduti, per le portate, 4 patate e 6 pizze. In questa ora nel tavolo avevamo solo il bere, neanche un po di pane o grissini. Generalmente, non guardo mai chi si siede dopo di me quando viene servito. In questo caso però, chi era con me , mi ha fatto notare che le 4 ragazze del tavolo dietro, sedutosi dopo di noi, avevano le patatine e i piatti richiesti dopo poco tempo. Quindi qualcosa in cucina o in sala non ha funzionato. Sollecito e alla fine arrivano 2 patatine e le 6 pizze, con tanto di scuse da parte delle cameriere. Quando vado a pagare , faccio presente solo che dovrei pagarne 2 e non 4 ...e mi fa notare la cassiera con sarcasmo che avevano provveduto gia a modificare....e che avrei dovuto alzare il dito. Come se la colpa del ritardo fosse mia😑! La giustificazione dell'attesa è stata che alcuni sono stati serviti prima perché avevano prenotato!😑😑😑 E io qua non capisco. Se mi fai sedere a locale mezzo vuoto, e poi arrivano i prenotati, non capisco perché dobbiamo rimanere in standby!!! Ps Locale alla fine al 60% quindi neanche pieno, da giustificare l'attesa esagerata. Pizza e...

A small and busy restaurant in the center of Aosta valley.. Offers all kind of Italian food.. Food are delicious.. Staffs are friendly.. But the restaurant is ligtle understaffed.. When we visited the restaurant there was only two waitress serving, billing, taking orders from more than 100 people.. Thats make the waiting tume to get the food a bit longer. They serve big portions of food enough for two person. Taste wise the food was good.. Price is...
