A Culinary Masterpiece in the Heart of Arezzo
We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Le Chiavi D'Oro in Arezzo, Italy. Recommended by our rental host Roberta. For my special Birthday. I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The moment we stepped into this elegant restaurant, we were enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for a truly exceptional meal. Greeted by one of the owners and two staff members. Family owned and operated. So special.
A Symphony of Flavors
The service was impeccable, with our server attentive, knowledgeable, and happy to guide us through the menu. The dishes we ordered were nothing short of culinary masterpieces. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, textures, and presentation that left us in awe.
Standout Dishes
Each of the dishes were cooked to perfection, with the pasta being a particular highlight. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the portion sizes were generous. Which continued throughout our selections. To include their recommendations of wine and desert.
Ambiance and Service
The ambiance was elegant and refined, with a warm and inviting decor that made us feel like we were dining in a luxurious setting. The service was top-notch, with our server and owner providing attentive and knowledgeable service throughout the meal.
A Truly Exceptional Experience
In short, Le Chiavi D'Oro is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Arezzo. The combination of exceptional service, stunning ambiance, and truly outstanding cuisine makes for a dining experience that will leave you with lifelong memories. We can't wait to return and indulge in another culinary masterpiece.

We had dinner here while staying in Arezzo, following a recommendation from our Airbnb host. Outdoor seating wasn’t available, but we were seated inside right away.
The space was elegant—warm lighting, beautiful details, and a calm, refined atmosphere. At first, we weren’t sure if it would be the right fit since we were with our young son and teenagers, and the restaurant is Michelin-rated. But we stayed, and we’re so glad we did.
The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and helpful in walking us through the menu. It’s divided into three sections, and they suggest two dishes per person. Only my husband followed that, starting with the steak tartare, which was excellent. We all had pasta dishes, and every one was incredible.
I had the duck tagliatelle with ragù—delectable and made with rich precision. The flavors were deep and comforting. Our vegetarian guest had the ravioli and savored every bite. Each dish felt intentional and beautifully prepared, without being overdone.
It was a quiet, elegant dinner. If you’re looking for more of a lively scene, the patio might be better. But if you want a relaxed, elevated evening with thoughtful food and a great bottle of wine, dining inside is a perfect...
Read moreWe visited you guys because you were recommended by Michelin, despite a few doubtful reviews. Well, we were the first on in the restaurant which is of course always a bit tough, however it took a while to place an order besides getting a bottle of water for self-service at the table. It then took another 10 minutes to get the attention from one of the waitresses, who were clearly busy preparing for a larger group of guests outside the restaurant. During our dinner we had mixed experiences with the service - it seemed very sloppy - wrong utensils, too many plates, plates at the wrong guests etc. Food was pretty good though, despite a bit boring (taste), but very far from what you would expect for the price and especially considering a recommendation from Michelin. It will be a big maybe for us next time we...
