Trattoria Mazzoni — Restaurant in Arezzo

We visited this neighborhood trattoria during the jousting competition. As visitors to the town we were made to feel very very welcome. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The food was delicious and the house wine was great. They explained the tournament to us, how it worked and encouraged us to stay until the end. The other guests were also really friendly to us and invited us to tour the evening's celebrations in the winning quarter. Try all the steaks!!! Abbiamo mangiato a pranzo in questa trattoria, cibo e prezzi nella media delle trattorie aretine, non avremmo avuto nulla di particolare da ridire se non che, dopo che 7 su 8 del nostro tavolo avevano mangiato, avendo fatto notare che mancava un primo, ci è stato risposto che a causa di una loro dimenticanza ,per la quale comunque si scusavano, (cosa che può succedere, siamo umani)avrebbero cucinato il piatto ma l'ordinazione sarebbe andata in coda a tutte le altre degli altri tavoli arrivati dopo di noi... come se inserire un piatto di pasta in mezzo a tanti altri fosse un problema...alle nostre leggittime rimostranze il proprietario ha risposto in malo modo che anche gli altri avevano il diritto di mangiare... come se chi nel nostro tavolo era rimasto senza cibo dopo che gli altri avevano finito ,non avesse lo stesso diritto... dopo aver chiesto il conto perché dopo un trattamento simile abbiamo ritenuto di andar via ,Ci ha risposto ad alta voce davanti a tutti che eravamo stati maleducati...NOI!!!OLTRE AL DANNO DI NON AVER MANGIATO PURE LA BEFFA!! Alla fine ci siamo resi conto che forse è stato un pretesto per farci alzare visto che con noi erano presenti dei bambini che consumano di meno rispetto agli adulti. Comportamento deplorevole.
