Lunchtime, after touring Basilica San Rufino, found Pizzeria Da Andrea's spread of pizzas, paninis, calzones, tortas etc appealing. Ordered Calzone Spinachi e Ricotta and Brocoletti, Salsiccia e Mozarella. Oven toasted before serving was warming on a chilly wintry day and generously stuffed was filling. Service was quick and friendly.

Delicious quick food prepared with high-quality ingredients. Local flavors, foccacia, pizza by the slice and torta al testo. Not for tourists only, which is always good. There are a few tables inside, and a very helpful staff.

Posticino molto piccolo ma ben organizzato. Un po’ caro a livello qualità-prezzo. Molto interessante e suggestiva la cucina aperta dove si può vedere il pizzaiolo stendere le pizze in teglia e infornarle. Non la pizza e torta al testo più buone. Sarebbero potute essere migliori. Nonostante abbiamo richiesto una scatolina per portar via, ci ha dato un vassoio, schiacciando le cose una sopra l’altra. Ci ha scaldato il tutto con la conclusione di avere seccato troppo il prosciutto nella torta al testo. Tuttavia la posizione è buona se si ci trova in centro e vicino non ci sono molti locali di pizza al trancio, l’unico ad avere incontrato in realtà .

Great food for something you'd call a "Fast-Food" Place. You get to choose if you want to sit inside and get something fresh from a menu or something for takeaway. Takeaway is prepared in advance (but obviously made fresh not long before that) and reheated in a pizza oven. I think we ate lunch here every day they were open during our almost two-week visit to Assisi. (They are closed Mondays.) Their torta al testo sandwiches are exceptional and they have a great variety of pizzas by the slice for such a small place. They also will do pizza to go. And you can enjoy a glass of house wine with your lunch or dinner!

This is the best little place to go for a panini, pizza, coffee and just for the owners. The brothers Andrea and Alessandro are wonderful- so very friendly - know how to make their pizzas and paninis. And great prices.

They also have a wonderful wine selection - for there or to take away.

We went here a few times and both Andrea and Alessandro remember you and will give you the biggest smiles. Their food is fabulous and this...
