Le Cantine di Oddo — Restaurant in Assisi

This place looks charming from the outside and certainly is pleasant inside as cozy and quaint and full of the atmosphere of Assisi. Sadly the food is not well prepared. Lacks flavor and not well presented. A basket of cold , tasteless bread is delivered with no oil or butter. Hot Vegetable soup is a tasteless green mush requiring I leave half uneaten.The sausage and pasta entree is so overwhelmed by bland heavy cream that it’s impossible to savor the sausage. And The penne pasta too al dente.

I am not at all pleased with this restaurant. Price when you first look at the menu seems pretty fair in compare to other restaurants in the area. BUT. Service is not that good, food is not at all tasty or yummi and quantity is very poor even though one thinks that it is not expensive. It is up to you if you want to chose to eat there but for me it was not a pleasant stay at all. Food not yummi, pasta not at all fresh or home made, very late to serve. For me i would not sit and eat in that...

"Le Cantine di Oddo" è stato un autentico gioiello scoperto grazie al passaparola e ha superato di gran lunga le mie alte aspettative.

Fin dall'istante in cui ho varcato la soglia, sono stata catturata da un'atmosfera calorosa e accogliente. Il personale, con la loro efficiente gentilezza e un sorriso sincero, ha reso ogni momento unico. Per me, l'attenzione e il servizio del personale sono tanto importanti quanto la qualità del cibo, e Le Cantine di Oddo ha sicuramente soddisfatto entrambe le mie aspettative.

Ora, parliamo del cibo! Ogni boccone era un'autentica festa per i sensi. Una delle mie scelte preferite è stata sicuramente gli gnocchetti con pesto di rucola: il contrasto tra la dolcezza degli gnocchetti e la vivacità del pesto ha creato un equilibrio perfetto che mi ha lasciato senza parole. Ma la vera sorpresa è stata la torta al testo con salsiccia e verdura. Ogni morso era una delizia di sapori genuini e irresistibili, non ho mai assaporato una combinazione così eccezionale e indimenticabile.
