From the moment we discovered this hidden gem, we knew we were about to experience something extraordinary. Even before stepping inside, there was a palpable sense that we were entering a place where passion, precision, and culinary excellence meet.

Every detail of our visit was a feast for the senses—an unexpected and delightful journey from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed to enhance the dining experience. The wine selection was thoughtfully curated, offering a range of exceptional choices to suit every palate.

The menu? A delicious dilemma. Each dish sounded more tempting than the last, showcasing a wide variety of thoughtfully crafted options that made choosing just one a challenge.

What truly elevated the evening was the service. One remarkably skilled and composed waiter managed six tables—three of them large parties—with such effortless grace and professionalism, it was as though he was conducting a symphony. His attentiveness and timing were nothing short of masterful.

And then came the food—pure perfection. Every bite was a testament to the kitchen’s expertise and love for what they do. Beautifully presented, flawlessly cooked, and absolutely bursting with flavor, our meals stole the show and left us in awe.

Il ristorante "Da Francesco" si trova a pochi passi dalla Basilica di Santa Maria degli Angeli, nel cuore del paese. Il locale è intimo, con circa una ventina di coperti all'interno, che aumentano nella bella stagione grazie ai tavoli all'aperto. Questa disposizione crea un'atmosfera accogliente e riservata, perfetta per chi cerca una pausa rilassante e piacevole. Il menù è un vero omaggio alla tradizione umbra, con ingredienti locali e di qualità. Consiglio di iniziare con il tagliere di salumi e formaggi, un'esplosione di sapori tipici della regione. Se capitate nel periodo giusto, come nel nostro caso, non perdetevi le bruschette con olio nuovo di molitura un'autentica delizia per chi visita l'Umbria tra settembre e novembre. Per secondo, ho scelto lo stinco di maiale con patate: tenerissimo, si scioglieva letteralmente in bocca. Anche i piatti che ho visto passare agli altri tavoli sembravano altrettanto invitanti e abbondanti. La mia porzione, generosa, mi ha saziato così tanto che non sono riuscito ad ordinare il dolce. Il tutto può essere accompagnato da ottimi vini locali, che arricchiscono ulteriormente l’esperienza culinaria. E per concludere in bellezza, non dimenticate di ordinare un buon amaro alle erbe.
