The dishes had definitely a high level of technique, a nice presentation, they were colorful and the service was nice.. but that was all. From a Michelin restaurant someone expects a complexity in flavors and definitely some excitement; but the dishes where unfortunately dull. I didn't understand chef's combination of flavors in his dishes. Most of them were flat. Really low in flavor and aroma. Some sauces were having a character but the combination with the main ingredient was generally unsuccessful. I think you must reconsider all over. I can't find the Michelin star anywhere there, and truly, i had a really good will!!! I am sorry because the overall experience was not good. We were five people and all of us had the same opinion. Based on previous reviews, we had high hopes when visiting this restaurant. Unfortunately, our evening ended quite disappointing. We had ordered the eight course menu so we were surprised to get a pre dessert after the third course. After the disappoint about the misunderstanding regarding the number of courses, we got a dessert with pineapple even though we mentioned an allergie twice. The food was nice, the quality of the products used was good, but not worth the high price (we paid about 300 euros even though we were compensated a little for the misunderstanding). As we visit michelin star restaurants in the Netherlands and Belgium, we started wondering if michelin standards vary around the world. Or maybe we were just really unlucky...

You can expect to taste unique dishes made from the very best ingredients while also eating in an amazing setting where the restaurant tables are not to close to each other. The art in the decor design is the first thing you see when you enter the restaurant and it will keep you looking at it for the duration of the evening.

The staff are professionals and took very good care of our every whim, whether to discuss about wine or the dishes. They are clearly invested into providing a very high quality service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and whenever we are in Italy again, we will surly drop by for an...

The good: Excellent service, grazie mille Franco! 🥂 The staff was very attentive to our needs, with minor glitches here and there (a waiter who poured wine to a champagne glass with some champagne in it...) The food was gorgeous to look at, plated splendidly. The not-so-good: The tastes of most of the food were not clear on what sensation the chef was trying to give us. We had to return one dish of green spaghetti because it was way too salty, but we got another dish instead - hence the compliments for the service. To summarize, the restaurant didn't live up to our expectations... For over 1000€ for 5 people.

It’s nice that the chef can play with textures, but when the flavor is missing you don’t do a lot with it. Service was pleasant. Water on the other hand was very expensive (8€/bottle). Una significativa esperienza di gusto, quella che si può vivere a La Veranda di Fabio Cordella, chef approdato sulle rive del Garda dalla Puglia salentina, terra di passioni culinarie. L'ambiente è fine, con pochi tavoli (max 3 prenotazioni ogni 30 min), una elegante veranda ricavata tra le due ali dell'Hotel Color. Il servizio è attento e cortese. La sommelier ci è sembrata professionale e di notevole cultura enologica. 5 i menu degustazione, ai quali si aggiunge uno nuovo pasquale, per il quale abbiamo optato. Grande ricercatezza delle materie prime e accostamenti creativi ma concreti. Straordinari il risotto con aglio orsino, scampo e fois gras e il rombo con crema di finocchio e fagiolini. Notevole anche il lombo di agnello. Come notevole è stato il percorso di degustazione dei vini abbinati ai piatti. Da premiare la maniacale attenzione riservata a uno di noi con problemi di allergia ad alcuni alimenti, adattando le loro portate di volta in volta. Il conto alla fine rispecchia in pieno l'unicità dell'esperienza. La stella Michelin credo sia ampiamente meritata.
